ShopRIF is a bookmark company started by Helena McAllister and myself, featuring illustrated bookmarks based on some of our favorite Hip-Hop artists. Hip-Hop is not just a genre of music but a way of life. It serves as a storytelling medium for those impacted by injustice and allows them to spread knowledge to the world. ShopRIF recognizes the value of Hip-Hop as a platform for empowerment and gives kudos to artists whose music inspires others. Nas, Tupac, and Kendrick Lamar are a few of many who have used their music to promote creativity and critical thinking. ShopRIF celebrates their cultural productions and extends their positivity by encouraging everyone to read. We inspire individuals of all ages to embrace the importance of creativity and education and recognize how reading, in particular, is both enjoyable and fundamental.
